Friday – May 10, 2019
3:30- 4:00: Reception at the Equine Center (Minorco Reception Hall, CU Equestrian Center, 40 Califon Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853)
4:00-4:30: Tour of the CU Equestrian Center
4:30-6:00: Admissions presentation- Kelly Munz, Department Chair (Classroom 1)
College Riding Overview- Learn about the Teams CU has to offer!

Saturday – May 11, 2019
Clinic Day – Start Time: 8:45 AM
8:45 – 9:00: Meet in Minorco Reception Hall at CU Equestrian Center
9:00 – 9:45: Review TPR with Dr. Jesslyn Bryk- Lucy (Meet in Main Barn South Aisle – by pharmacy)
10:00 – 10:30: Session 1 students tack up horses for their clinic (Current CU students will assist with tacking up)
Session 2 students meet with Michael Dowling to review responsibilities in the Ring (Meet in Reeves Arena)
10:30 – 12:00: Session 1 students ride in their clinic
Session 2 students assist Michael Dowling
Noon – 1:30: Lunch is provided by Centenary University (Minorco Reception Hall)
12:30 – 1:00: Session 2 students tack up horses for their clinic (Current CU students will assist with tacking up)
Session 1 students meet with Michael Dowling to review responsibilities in the Ring (Meet in Reeves Arena)
1:00 – 2:30: Session 2 students ride in their clinic
Session 1 students assist Michael Dowling
3:00 – 4:00: Meet with Dr. Lynn Taylor and learn how to Body Condition Score Horses
4:00 – 5:30: Head to main campus for a tour with current students.
Directions will be provided.
7:00pm – Bonfire and S’mores at hotel – with coaches and current CU students (Tentative)
Sunday – May 12, 2019
Morning Mini Clinic & Afternoon Horse Show – Start Time: 8:30 AM
8:30-8:45: Meet in the Minorco Reception Hall to receive instructions for the morning. Riders will participate in a mini clinic in their respective groups first thing in the morning. – Kelly Munz, Michael Dowling, Heather Clark, Tara Clausen, Sarah Simms
9:15-10:45: Mini Clinic (30 minutes per group) – Michael Dowling and Heather Clark
11:00-12:00: Lunch Provided by Centenary University (Minorco Reception Hall)
11:30- 12:45: Horse Show Begins – Professor Tara Clausen will be our judge.
12:45: Awards and Final Wrap Up
