Academic Achievements:
I am a member of the following honor societies: National Honor Society, English HS, Math HS, Social Studies HS and Music HS.
Non-Equestrian Awards, Organizations, Hobbies, and Volunteer Work.
AWARDS: 4-H Cornell Cooperative Extension Community Service Award 2016, 4-H And My World Award (2013-2106) The Lucille Cox Memorial Award (2015), The Music Directors Award (2017), NYSSMA Level 6 high score (2016,2017) Area All-Star Performance 2017, Carnegie Hall Honors Music Performance 2018.
VOLUNTEER WORK: Recently I volunteered to travel to the Dominican Republic with the Wine to Water organization. I lived and worked in the factory making water filtration systems for the underdeveloped communities near Santiago. I then traveled to these communities, education those families on hygiene and use of the filtration system. We visited villages who have been using the system and were pleased to see that the children were healthier and there was less disease and sickness throughout the community. It was a life-changing and very rewarding experience for me.
Through 4-H, my music scholarship at The Hudson Valley Conservatory and my Music Honor Society, I have had numerous opportunities to volunteer my services, I have raised funds for organizations and the homeless by participating in fundraiser events ranging from collecting recyclables monthly to singing at local shelters and community events. I volunteer as Student Scholarship Council Representative at school, sing the National Anthem at school events, I am a Freshman Orientation Leader and perform in community theater, parades and fundraisers.
HOBBIES: I play several instruments including piano, flute, piccolo, and dabble on the saxophone and ukulele at times. I study voice and like to perform in community events when available. I enjoy hanging out with my family, going on family vacations. I love the ocean, wake-boarding, basket weaving, crafting and decorating. On my volunteer trip to the Dominican, I recently learned I like to play softball!
Do you show in more than one discipline?
I have shown in hunt seat, dressage and gymkhana.
Brief Riding History
I started riding when I was four and purchased my first pony at the age of 10.
